Ray Carbone, the editor, has lived and worked in the area for more than 15 years. His writing (mostly about the Lakes Region) has appeared in The Boston Globe, The Manchester (N.H.) Union Leader/New Hampshire Sunday News, New Hampshire magazine, Business New Hampshire, The New Hampshire Business Review, The Citizen of Laconia/Sunday Citizen and The Laconia Daily Sun.

For four years, Ray wrote a “destinations/things-to-do” column about the Lakes Region for NH.com, one of the state’s most popular websites. Before moving to the area, he published and edited specialty publications in other New England resort communities.
